My company's strict IT DMA policies do not allow Thunderbolt 3

SmartDesk Connect relies on cutting-edge Thunderbolt 3 technology to provide adequate bandwidth for three Ultra High Definition (UHD) displays. Direct memory access (DMA) is a requirement for Thunderbolt 3 since it essentially simulates a PCIe connection.

Specific IT policies disable DMA with BitLocker to protect PCs against drive-by DMA attacks. Without DMA, it's nearly impossible to provide graphics acceleration for three UHD displays.

We've taken these IT practices into account and are currently beta testing an alternative that relies on DisplayLink and only requires a USB3.0+ interface.
